Presbyopia: the final frontier
Being able to see clearly at all distances, even once we reach 40, without corrective lenses… Is this just a dream? Not at all! Today it is a reality. Refractive surgery has advanced considerably even where the treatment of presbyopia is concerned. By choosing the most appropriate technique, at the time of writing, vision can be restored for all distances.
CAMO offers its patients all of the currently available techniques for the correction of presbiopia: laser surgery, the implantation of artificial or intracorneal lenses.
CAMO has always employed the most advanced technology, such as the Fifth generation excimer laser by Baush+Lomb/Technolas Perfect Vision Z-100 PTA for the treatment of presbiopia, the Femtosecond Laser by Alcon LenSx System to simultaneously correct cataract and presbiopia or the Femtosecond laser AMO IFS 120 Hz for the treatment with implantation of intracorneal lenses.
When the surgeon selects the technique for implanting an artificial lens, he also decides which lens to implant, choosing from the very best available on the international markets, selected in relation to the specific clinical case.
